Refund policy.
Policy · Legal / Refund
How refunds work at KyTech. Explicit windows, explicit conditions, no games. 7 days pre-injection for a no-questions-asked reversal. Everything else, spelled out below.
charge.created event, pre-injection only.- You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase as long as you have not injected (activated the loader against any supported game) and are not under an active HWID ban.
- Once you inject, the digital good has been delivered and consumed — refunds after that point are handled case-by-case and are not guaranteed.
- HWID bans issued by our anti-tamper subsystem are grounds for refund denial. Contact support with your incident ID before disputing; many bans are overturnable.
- Filing a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us results in account review and possible termination. Talk to us in Discord first — most disputes are resolvable directly with staff.
- Cryptocurrency payments are refunded to the wallet you paid from, in the same coin, at the market rate at time of refund (not time of purchase). This can differ materially from what you paid.
This policy applies to every purchase made through the KyTech website, whether by credit/debit card via Stripe, by cryptocurrency via NOWPayments, or by any other payment method we offer. If you are located in a jurisdiction with additional statutory refund rights, the region-specific section below supplements this policy — where they conflict, the region-specific text controls.
01Who we are
KyTech, Ltd. ("KyTech", "we", "us"), a Florida limited-liability company, sells access to the KyTech loader and associated game-enhancement services. We are the merchant of record for card purchases (processed by Stripe on our behalf) and the recipient of record for cryptocurrency purchases (processed by NOWPayments on our behalf).
- Refund & billing contact: Open a ticket in the KYTECH Discord — discord.com/invite/kytech. All refund and billing cases are reviewed manually by staff.
- Legal & formal disputes: [email protected]
- Postal: the operating-entity address is provided on request with any formal refund dispute.
02What you're buying
KyTech sells digital goods and time-based service access. A purchase entitles you to:
- A license key bound to your account and to the hardware fingerprint (HWID) of the first machine that activates it.
- On-demand delivery of the loader payload for one or more supported games. The payload is polymorphically re-compiled at each fetch — no two downloads are byte-identical.
- Time-limited service access (subscription plans) or a fixed grant of injection attempts (pay-per-use), as described at checkout.
You are not buying a perpetual copy of any binary. The payload is streamed at each session and is not retained on disk between sessions. Your subscription grants continued eligibility to fetch fresh payloads for the term you paid for.
03Satisfaction refund window — 7 days, pre-injection
You may request a full refund of the purchase price, no questions asked, subject to all of the following conditions:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of the original purchase timestamp (the Stripe or NOWPayments
charge.createdevent). - You have not injected — that is, no
injection_eventsrow with statuscompleteexists for your license key against any supported game. - You are not under an active HWID ban at the time you request the refund.
- The request is opened as a ticket in the KYTECH Discord (discord.com/invite/kytech) referencing the license key or the Stripe receipt for the purchase.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. For card payments, this timeline includes Stripe's issuer-settlement window. For cryptocurrency payments, see § 09 below.
What counts as "injected"? Any of the following:
- Your HWID is bound to the license (the handshake step completed at least once).
- A
/firecall for your license produced aprocess_detected,injecting, orcompleteevent server-side. - The polymorphic payload was generated and streamed to your loader (an
injector_eventsrow exists with a non-nullbuild_id).
Handshake alone does not consume the refund window if no payload was streamed — but downloading the payload does, because it triggered the polymorph-generation and delivery pipeline whose cost is real regardless of whether you actually run the resulting binary.
04Non-refundable circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in any of the following cases:
- After the 7-day window has elapsed for any reason other than mandatory statutory refund rights (see § 10).
- After successful injection — the digital good has been consumed.
- Third-party detection of the cheat by the game's anti-cheat resulting in an in-game ban imposed by the game publisher. Anti-cheat systems evolve daily; we make no guarantee of undetectability and offer no warranty against publisher-side bans. Our disclosure of this risk is made prominently at checkout.
- Your machine changed / your HWID reset for legitimate reasons outside our reset policy (which grants one free HWID reset per subscription period on request).
- You purchased the wrong tier or wrong game and immediately used the license against a different game or upgraded your tier. We can credit the difference against a future purchase but do not refund cash for tier swaps after injection.
- Any purchase made under an active HWID ban or account restriction. If you have an active ban and successfully purchased before the ban check ran, we will refund the charge and preserve the ban.
- Chargeback filed without prior contact (see § 06). This is treated as fraud and terminates the account.
- Detected violation of the Terms of Service, including reselling, redistributing, sharing accounts, or attempting to reverse-engineer / re-obfuscate the loader.
05HWID bans & refunds
KyTech's K4 anti-tamper subsystem issues HWID bans when it detects analysis tools (debuggers, cheat editors, packet inspectors, VPN/proxy tools) running on your machine at the moment you attempt to inject. Each ban carries a support-facing incident ID in the format KY-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Refund eligibility interacts with HWID bans as follows:
| Ban context | Refund policy |
|---|---|
| Soft-tier ban (VPN, proxy, packet capture) issued before you injected | You are eligible for a full refund on request. Contact support with your incident ID and mention "refund per § 05". |
| Soft-tier ban issued after you already injected | Refund not automatic. If you can demonstrate the tool was not intentionally running against our service (e.g. corporate VPN required by employer), we consider it case-by-case. |
| Hard-tier ban (active debugger, cheat editor, reverse-engineering tool) at any point | Refund denied absent extraordinary evidence of false positive. Some hard-tier reasons are administratively overturnable and reactivate your license without refund needing to change hands. |
| Ban overturned by an administrator before you requested refund | Refund is moot — your license is active again. |
| Ban confirmed as false-positive after our review | We overturn the ban and, if you request it, issue a goodwill credit against your next renewal or a partial refund at our discretion. |
Always contact support before disputing. Many bans are overturnable through the admin appeals workflow when reviewed by staff, and an overturn is faster than a refund + repurchase cycle.
06Chargebacks & payment disputes
Filing a chargeback without contacting us first is treated as payment fraud.
We will provide the acquirer (Stripe, your issuing bank, or Visa/Mastercard's dispute network) with a complete record of your account, purchase, delivered payload, and injection events — including all K4 anti-tamper telemetry captured on your machine. In every one of these cases the merchant defense package includes evidence you agreed to this policy, evidence of delivery, and evidence of use. We win the vast majority of these disputes on the merits.
Regardless of who wins the dispute, your account is permanently terminated and your HWID is permanently banned the moment we receive the chargeback notice. This ban is not overturnable.
The reason for the hard line is simple: our anti-fraud costs — Stripe's per-dispute fee (currently $15 per case whether we win or lose), our staff time to prepare the defense, and the reputational impact on our processor account — are already several times the price of most licenses. A chargeback filed in bad faith is a real loss that we cannot absorb at scale.
How to actually resolve a payment issue
- Open a ticket in the KYTECH Discord (discord.com/invite/kytech) with your license key or Stripe receipt. Staff review every case manually; there is no automation on this path.
- If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, ask in your Discord ticket to escalate to an operator with billing authority.
- If we still cannot agree, we will voluntarily refund the disputed charge in exchange for your undertaking not to file a chargeback for the same transaction. This is standard practice and protects both sides.
If your card was actually used without your authorisation (someone else made the purchase using your card details, i.e. genuine fraud, not just a dispute over quality) — file the chargeback and also email us. We do not treat unauthorised-transaction chargebacks as bad faith when the account access pattern matches the fraud claim (different IP, different device fingerprint, no login prior to purchase).
07Subscriptions & renewals
Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel in the account panel at least 24 hours before the next renewal. This 24-hour window matches Stripe's internal cutoff for cancellation-vs-renewal reconciliation.
- Cancellation: takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full service through that period. No pro-rata refund is issued for the unused portion of a cancelled period.
- Renewal charged in error (you cancelled and were charged anyway, or Stripe processed a renewal for a plan we already ended): contact support within 30 days. We refund the erroneous renewal in full without touching the 7-day window.
- Downgrade mid-cycle: the price difference credits against your next renewal. No cash refund is issued for downgrades.
- Upgrade mid-cycle: the new tier activates immediately; you are charged the pro-rated difference for the remainder of the current period.
- Involuntary termination (by us, for policy violation): the balance of the current period is not refunded. This is disclosed at signup and again in the Terms of Service.
08How to request a refund
- Open a ticket in the KYTECH Discord (discord.com/invite/kytech). Post it from the Discord account linked to your KYTECH account, or include enough purchase detail (see below) for staff to verify ownership.
- Include:
- Your license key (the
KYTECH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXformat shown in the account panel), OR - The Stripe receipt id (starts with
rcpt_) or the NOWPayments invoice id, OR - The email address used at checkout and the approximate purchase date.
- Your license key (the
- State the reason for the refund request. This is not required to qualify for a satisfaction refund within the 7-day window, but it helps us improve.
- If you have received an HWID ban, include the incident id (
KY-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) so we can check whether an overturn is a faster path than a refund.
Response time: refund requests are reviewed manually by staff via Discord. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days for card purchases (Stripe issuer-settlement window); cryptocurrency refunds follow the timeline in § 09.

Every refund is reviewed manually by staff. Post your license key or Stripe receipt in your ticket.
09Cryptocurrency purchases
Cryptocurrency payments (processed via NOWPayments) are technically irreversible once confirmed on the underlying blockchain. Refunds are therefore issued as new outbound transactions to the same wallet address that paid us, denominated in the same coin.
- Market rate applies at refund time, not purchase time. If Bitcoin cost $60,000 at purchase and $65,000 at refund, you receive the same fiat-equivalent value in BTC at the refund-time price — meaning fewer BTC than you paid. If the coin has fallen, you receive more BTC than you paid. This is a consequence of paying us in a volatile asset; we do not hold the coin between transactions.
- Network fees are deducted from the refund amount. A Bitcoin network fee that costs $3 during a low-mempool period may cost $30 during congestion.
- Refunds to exchange deposit addresses are not supported. If you paid from a Coinbase / Binance / other exchange address, tell us a non-custodial wallet address you control. Sending crypto to an exchange address exposes both parties to the exchange's compliance freezes (chargebacks in the crypto world) and we will not do it.
- Processing time. Once approved, we broadcast the refund as soon as staff can queue it. On-chain confirmation depends on the coin (Bitcoin: ~10-60 min for one confirmation; Ethereum: seconds to minutes; other coins per their protocol).
10Region-specific consumer rights
The following supplements this policy for customers resident in the listed jurisdictions. Where a jurisdiction grants rights broader than the general policy above, the jurisdiction-specific text controls.
Florida FDUTPA
- The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (F.S. § 501.201 et seq.) protects Florida consumers from deceptive commercial practices.
- Our disclosures at checkout, the 7-day satisfaction window, and the chargeback dispute-resolution process in § 06 are designed to comply with FDUTPA.
- You may file a complaint with the Florida Division of Consumer Services at fdacs.gov or with the Florida Attorney General's office.
California CCPA / SB 313
- California Civil Code § 1723 requires posted refund policies for physical retail; we voluntarily apply the same transparency standard here for our digital storefront.
- CA residents may complain to the Department of Consumer Affairs or file with the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section.
- Subscription auto-renewals comply with the California Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600) — you receive an email confirmation before every renewal and can cancel in one click from your account panel.
Other U.S. States
- All 50 U.S. states have consumer-protection statutes that supplement our policy. Where a state grants a longer refund window than our 7-day satisfaction period, the state's statutory window controls.
- Auto-renewal disclosures follow the strictest of the applicable state laws (currently California; New York's ARL is comparable).
EU & UK CRD 2011/83/EU
- The EU Consumer Rights Directive (as implemented in each member state) gives consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance-sold digital content.
- This right is waived if you affirmatively consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge losing the withdrawal right (Art 16(m)). Our checkout collects this affirmative consent explicitly — you cannot download the loader payload without checking the acknowledgment box.
- If you do not check that box, you retain the 14-day withdrawal right and we will not deliver the payload until either you consent or the 14-day period expires.
- Complaints may be filed with your national consumer protection authority; a list of authorities is available via the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
United Kingdom CCRs 2013
- The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 implement the same 14-day right of withdrawal with the same digital-content waiver.
- The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires that digital content be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Our loader is warranted to fetch and inject the payload; it is not warranted to remain undetected by third-party anti-cheat systems, and this limitation is disclosed prominently at checkout.
Australia ACL
- The Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) provides mandatory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded — acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, matching description.
- Where an Australian consumer purchases from us and the service materially fails to meet those guarantees, the ACL controls over this policy.
11Fraud & refund abuse
We track refund requests per account and per payment fingerprint. The following patterns trigger refusal of future refund requests and, in severe cases, account termination:
- Serial refunds: more than two refunds requested against the same account, or more than two accounts from the same payment fingerprint requesting refunds, within any 90-day window.
- Refund-then-chargeback: requesting a refund, receiving it, and then filing a chargeback for the same or a subsequent purchase.
- Injecting-then-refunding pattern: using the service materially and then claiming the 7-day satisfaction window before it expires.
- Coordinated refund campaigns across multiple accounts detected via shared HWID / IP / payment fingerprint.
- Stolen-card usage. If a purchase was made with a stolen card and the true cardholder disputes it, we cooperate fully with the issuer and law-enforcement inquiries. The person who used the stolen card loses account access and is permanently banned.
Refund refusal decisions include a written reason and appeal path. Appeals are reviewed by an operator who was not involved in the original decision.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes — including changes to the satisfaction refund window, chargeback consequences, or non-refundable circumstances — will be announced in-account and by email to all active customers at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
The version, effective date, and last-updated date are shown at the top of this page. Historical versions are available on request from [email protected].
Purchases made under a prior version of this policy remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase for the duration of that purchase's refund window.
13Contact
- Refunds & billing: [email protected]
- Legal / formal disputes / DSAR: [email protected]
- Postal address: provided on request in connection with any formal dispute.
For general product support (installation issues, injection failures, HWID resets) use the in-app support ticket flow — those tickets are triaged faster than email.
