Does Warden detect kernel overlays on
Overwatch 2?
Warden runs in usermode and hooks Battle.net telemetry plus select memory regions. It does not see kernel level code that renders to a separate swap chain the game process never owns.
Our OW2 loader injects as a kernel image and paints ESP through an out of process Direct2D overlay. The game and its D3D device never see the overlay window, so nothing about it lands in the memory regions Warden hashes.
That said, ban waves happen. Do not use a main account you would miss.
